The following events are organized by ATA Divisions and require a separate registration and payment.  All times are Pacific Time.

Arabic Language Division: ALD's Annual Dinner

Thursday, October 31 | 7:00 pm

The Arabic Language Division (ALD) is delighted to invite you to its 2024 annual dinner at the ATA 65th Conference!   Join us for a memorable night on Thursday, October 31st at Marrakesh Restaurant in Portland, OR to connect with friends and colleagues in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. Tickets are limited to 30 and reservations will be on a first-come first-served basis.

We will enjoy a sumptuous five-course meal, including traditional mint tea to conclude the evening. You can view the full menu here.

  • Cost: $41 per person (includes a 20% gratuity)
  • Please note that any additional refreshments will be individually billed. This will be a non-alcoholic event. Mint tea is included ONLY after the meal.

Reservation Deadline: October 21st

Cancelation policy: Cancellation is free until October 21st. After this date, tickets become non-refundable in accordance with the restaurant's reservation policy.

Chinese Language Division: Annual Dinner

All ATA members are welcome to join us!

Location: 1504 NE Broadway, Portland, OR 97232 (meet in the lobby of Hyatt Regency at 6:40 pm to share a Uber or walk there (20 min walk))

Join fellow CLD members to revisit the highlights of ATA65, the Annual Conference to be held in Portland from October 30 to November 2. This virtual event is open to all CLD members—even if you do not attend the Conference in Portland.

French Language Division: FLD Happy Hour

Thursday, October 31 | 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Spend some time with your FLD colleagues at ATA65! Grab a drink, have a chat, and maybe find some dinner companions while you’re there. Don’t be shy! If you don’t know anyone when you arrive, you will by the time you leave.

This will be an informal event and there is no charge beyond what you purchase at the bar/restaurant.

However, if you are ready for the ADVANCED LEVEL…
Gather some of your new friends and head out to one of the local restaurants afterwards.

German Language Division: GLD's Annual Dinner

Located in the Pearl District, and reachable from the hotel by public transportation or Uber.

Cost: $76 per person (includes applicable fees and gratuity).

Beverages are not included but are available for individual purchase.

Language Technology Division: LTD's Annual Dinner

Law Division: LawD Lunch

Please join us at the ATA65 Law Division Lunch and enjoy a break in your conference day for networking, meeting new friends and catching up with old ones.  This year we are going to meet up for a casual lunch in the Exhibit Hall at the conference, which will have an area with tables and a concession station with food available for purchase.  Look for the Law Division signs!

Location: Conference Exhibit Hall

Cost: Purchase your own lunch.  We will not have details on the food prices and options in advance.

RSVP: There will be no registration or prepayment.

Menu: We do not have details on the menu options.  You are also welcome to bring or order your own lunch from elsewhere and eat with us.
