ATA 65th Annual Conference (ATA65)

The submission deadline has passed.

The deadline to submit a proposal was March 1, 2024.  Plan to submit a proposal for next year's ATA Annual conference.  Proposal submission will open in January 2025.

Submission is open to everyone

All proposals are selected through a competitive peer-review process.  By contributing to the advancement of your profession, you will build your reputation and résumé, widen your networking circle, and position yourself as a key player to help shape the future of the T&I industry.

Speakers come from all over the world and volunteer to share their experience and expertise with all attendees.  They are working translators and interpreters, many of whom are also educators, attorneys, physicians, CEOs, and managers.

You do not have to be an ATA member to submit a proposal.

Audiovisual Translation

Topics of interest for professionals who work in translation, interpreting, and accessibility of audiovisual content.

Book and Literary Translation

Topics of interest to translators of books and literary works.

Business of T&I

Topics related to the business aspects of translation and interpreting for solopreneurs, small business owners, and larger language services providers.

Business Sector T&I

Topics of interest for interpreters and translators who support internal and external business operations, including corporate communication, financial communication, and other areas.

Chinese

Topics of interest for interpreters and translators working from or into Chinese (presentations may be in Chinese or English).

Conference Interpreting

Topics of interest for conference interpreters.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in T&I

Topics related to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the T&I profession, use of inclusive language in translation and interpreting, and policies and practices regarding inclusive language.

Dutch

Education and Training T&I

Topics of interest for educators and trainers who develop the next generation of translators and interpreters.
